TRAINING OVERVIEW

Gain the knowledge and understanding of the purpose of a mental health youth mentor. Designed for youth practitioners working in primary and secondary schools that deliver individual or group interventions.
This is a 3-day course followed by a portfolio that leads to a Level 3 Certificate in Mentoring Children and Young People from Open Awards. The course is suitable for learning mentors, ELSA, support and pastoral staff, in addition to teachers who have capacity to deliver individual and group interventions.
