TRAINING OVERVIEW

This is an introduction and two-day course in culturally competent youth mentoring.

Introduction: Allows new and experienced mentors will develop confidence in what youth mentoring is for people of colour.

Full two-day Course: Continuing from the introduction, exploring styles of youth mentoring used to navigate systemic biases.

Attendees will reflect on why, and how youth mentoring can be successful when supporting BAME youth in navigating structural barriers whilst developing confidence in their position and purpose in the UK.
