This four half days peer mentoring training provides project coordinators and or groups of youth leaders mentoring younger youth, with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to deliver sound peer mentoring relationships; that safeguard the peer mentor, mentee and organisation.
This course has been designed for schools, voluntary, community and grassroots organisations.
Along with a nominated key member of staff, peer mentors will have time to explore key peer mentoring concepts and practice tried and tested mentoring methods, tools, and techniques.
Duration: Once a week for 4 weeks
Prerequisites: None required
Minimum Age: 14
Assessment Method: Case study review, project design, assessment, self study modules.
