3 MONTH PROGRAMME

Required days per Week: 4

Month 1:

• Programme Induction
• Safeguarding Training
• Adverse Childhood Experiences
• Child Exploitation Training
• Introduction to Youth Mentoring Training

Month 2:

• First Aid Training
• Mental Health Training
• Youth Mentoring Tools and Techniques Training
• Meet Your Mentees (1-2 mentees)
• Plan and conduct weekly 1:1 youth mentoring sessions
• Plan and conduct two group youth mentoring sessions
• Mentoring Supervision

Month 3:

• Level 3 Certificate in Mentoring from Open Awards
• Youth Mentoring  Organisation visits
• Coordinating Projects CPD Training
• End of Programme Reflection

6 MONTH PROGRAMME

Required Days per Week: 2

Month 1-2:

• Programme Induction

Month 5-6:

• Hands On Youth Mentoring Experience
• Mentoring Tools and Techniques Training
• Coordinating Projects CPD Training
• Mentors Supervision
• Career Guidance

Month 7-8:

• Level 3 Certificate in Mentoring from Open Awards
• Hands On Youth Mentoring Experience
• Youth Mentoring Organisation visits
• Mentors Supervision

Month 9-10:

• Hands On Youth Mentoring Experience
