Q. What do you need from us to start.

We need the following:

  • A bright and airy room with a window on the door.
  • Access to school wifi or mentoring sessions to be delivered in an area where we can access mobile phone signals to hotspots from our work phones.
  • At least 30 (max 60 minute) minute 1:1 mentoring sessions
  • It is time to deliver an assembly to the whole school or a year to change perceptions of mentoring, who has a mentor, and what it can do.
  • The 1:1 first session will be delivered with a staff member present for at least 25% of the session.
  • Feedback/involvement from school staff to support the mentoring journey
  • Certificate handout to the student at the school assembly on completion of the mentoring relationship.
