This 5 day training is for experienced mentors.
Delivered over 5 half days, with options to join our Youth Mentor Academy post training, this training allows Youth Mentors working in the education, youth, healthcare, social care, criminal justice and community sectors to reflect and enhance their youth mentoring practice. Training includes a pre reflection assessment, self study modules and a question sheet on completion.
Trainees will learn how to use the Youth Mentoring Tool Kit Framework and Youth Mentoring in Practice Model, endorsed by the UK Charity Barnardo's, SEEN initiative.
This training encourages youth mentors to think creatively about the tools they use to support a young person’s progression, whilst monitoring and evaluating progression and impact.
