The Experienced Level Academy is a fast-track training programme for experienced Youth Mentors and youth practitioners working within the education, criminal justice, social work, community and health sectors with over three years experience mentoring young people.

The Experienced Academy Level is perfect for: Youth practitioners, youth workers, youth mentors, teachers, learning support staff, support workers, criminal justice staff or social workers with over three years experience mentoring young people.

What You'll Learn

- Coordinating mentoring interventions and managing complex relationships
- Strategic thinking and leadership skills for Lead Youth Mentor Practitioner roles
- Monitoring, evaluation, and impact measurement techniques
- Professional report writing and research gathering skills
- Supervisory skills and team leadership skills
- Current evidence-based approaches in Youth Mentoring Practice.

You'll gain advanced knowledge in coordinating youth mentoring interventions and relationships, plus strategic thinking skills that establish your credibility as a practitioner in youth mentoring roles. You'll also develop your leadership skills via peer to peer learning, monitoring and evaluation, professional report writing, research gathering and supervisory responsibilities.

You'll learn and demonstrate advanced Youth Mentoring techniques and best practices through complex case studies. We will give you the opportunity to showcase your ability to guide other Youth Mentors in managing challenging relationships and barriers to progression. You'll build evidence of advanced practice skills.

Times: 6pm - 8pm
Total Practical hours: 16

You'll deepen your knowledge in organisational development, policy influence, and evidence-based practice methodologies. This self-directed learning prepares you for leadership responsibilities and strategic decision-making. These flexible components allows you to learn at your own pace while building critical knowledge for complex mentoring situations.

Our dedicated support will help you transition into senior roles within youth mentoring and youth development organisations. You'll attend networking events with decision-makers and learn how to stay up to date with law, policy and developments impacting youth mentoring. On completion of your course, you'll receive;
