City Year UK has trained and supported over 1,800 young adults since 2009 to coach and mentor over 17,000 pupils, placing inspirational young volunteers in schools full-time for a year to support those furthest from opportunity City Year UK.

ReachOut operates as a strategic partner for schools, delivering an evidence-based curriculum through collective mentorship with trained practitioners, combining positive peer support with adult role models for 9-14 year olds ReachOut.

Regional Innovators

London Youth runs the Mentoring Support Programme, which sits alongside their Mentoring Quality Framework - a self-assessment tool helping organisations reflect and develop their mentoring practice London Youth. This is part of the Mayor of London's New Deal for Young People mission London Youth.

Mentoring Plus in Bath provides weekly, inclusive, child-led one-to-one mentoring along with youth clubs, helping young people improve wellbeing, build confidence, and re-engage with education Mentoring Plus.

The Mayor of London's record £34 million mentoring programme is on track to deliver mentoring to 100,000 young Londoners by the end of 2024, making it the biggest fund ever invested by any UK city in providing mentors London City Hall.
